Growscale Healthcare Mall — how we collect, use, and protect your information, including communications via WhatsApp Business.

Last updated: 23 August 2026

1. Introduction

Growscale Healthcare Mall (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website growscale.org and related services for diagnostic tests, doctor consultation, and pharmacy support in Kumarganj, Ayodhya.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal information when you visit our website, book services, or contact us through phone, email, Instagram, or WhatsApp (including the WhatsApp Business / Meta Business Platform).

By using our website or messaging us on WhatsApp, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use these services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly and information that is generated when you use our services.

  • Identity and contact details: name, phone number, email address, and postal address.
  • Booking and healthcare service details: selected tests, preferred date/time, appointment notes, and related clinical information needed to fulfil a booking.
  • Payment details: payment status, order identifiers, and transaction references processed through our payment partner (we do not store full card numbers on our servers).
  • WhatsApp and messaging data: your WhatsApp number, message content you send us, media you share, and delivery/read metadata provided by Meta/WhatsApp when you contact our business account.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, used to operate and improve the website.

3. How We Use WhatsApp and Meta Services

We use WhatsApp Business (a Meta product) to communicate with patients and customers who choose to contact us or who request updates on that channel. Typical uses include answering enquiries, confirming bookings, sharing appointment reminders, sending status updates, and providing customer support.

When you message us on WhatsApp, Meta (WhatsApp) processes that communication according to Meta’s own terms and privacy policy. We only use WhatsApp to talk with people who have initiated contact, opted in, or otherwise requested communication on that channel in line with Meta’s Commerce and WhatsApp Business policies.

We do not sell WhatsApp contact lists. We do not use WhatsApp messages for unrelated marketing without a lawful basis and, where required, your consent. You may stop WhatsApp messages at any time by asking us to unsubscribe or by blocking our business number.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide diagnostic bookings, doctor consultation requests, pharmacy support, and related customer service.
  • Confirm appointments, send reminders, share reports or booking updates, and respond to questions.
  • Process payments and prevent fraudulent transactions.
  • Comply with applicable healthcare, tax, and record-keeping obligations.
  • Improve our website, services, and communication quality.
  • Contact you using the channel you used or requested (website, phone, email, or WhatsApp).

5. Legal Bases for Processing

Depending on the activity, we process personal data because it is necessary to perform a contract (for example, completing a test booking), because you have given consent (for example, opting into WhatsApp updates), because we have a legitimate interest in operating and securing our services, or because we must comply with law.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only when needed to provide services or meet legal duties:

  • Service providers: payment processors (such as Razorpay), hosting, email delivery, and WhatsApp/Meta for message delivery.
  • Partner diagnostic labs and clinicians, only as required to fulfil a booked test or consultation.
  • Authorities, if required by law, regulation, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

Third parties process data under their own policies when you use their platforms (for example, WhatsApp/Meta or Instagram).

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including booking fulfilment, patient communication, payment records, dispute handling, and legal or medical record requirements. WhatsApp chat history may be retained in our business tools for customer-support continuity and then deleted or archived according to our operational needs and applicable law.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. Please avoid sending highly sensitive medical documents over WhatsApp unless you understand the risks and choose that channel.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, withdraw consent for optional communications, or ask us to stop using WhatsApp for your number. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our website and WhatsApp Business account are intended for adults arranging healthcare services. If a parent or guardian books tests or consultation for a minor, they should only provide information necessary for that service. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children for marketing purposes.

11. International Transfers

Some processors, including Meta/WhatsApp, may store or process data on servers outside India. Where that happens, those providers apply their own safeguards. By using WhatsApp to contact us, you understand that Meta may process that data according to its global infrastructure and privacy policy.

12. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of our website or WhatsApp channel after an update means you accept the revised policy.
